Is it not limitation of free speech to deny Racists the oxygen of free publicity? This seems like political correctness gone mad!! To censor racism, holocaust denial and other things of the ilk not only sustains credence of such people's victimhood, it also perpetuates their myth of martyrdom, only sustaing their ignorance that in the clear light of day and reasoned debate would be exposed for all to see. I for one, would like a the Ron Atkinson comment back on the list. (I in no way imply, nor should you infer that any esteemed member/adminstrator of this forum is racist, anti-semitic or a Chelsea supporter)

However in a list of why we don't want England to win the world cup I think the comment that "their treatment of Ron Atkinson" is a little rich. There are plenty more reasons to wish ill on England than that. I am happy for a debate on Ron's perceived racism to take place on the board and will endeavour not to curtail anyone's right to free speech - racist or otherwise. If whyohwhy really wants to include it then he can throw it up again and I won't interfere. The main reason I edited his post was to get rid of Commonwealth Games as we already had it.

Fair comment from Head Administrator/Censor there. If I feel there is a groundswell of support, I will open up a "Ron Atkinson is certainly not a racist, he has loadsa black friends" thread. But only is there is a demand out there...

See if we can get this list up to 1,966 before the world cup starts 31. Dublin and Monaghan bombings 75. Gordon Ramsay I think these should be taken out; The bombings had nothing to do with England directly (maybe collusion between British Army and Loyalists, but nothing directly to do with England). Gordon Ramsay is a Scottish cnut, I believe
