Point 256 should be removed, it had nothing to do with England, It was the British Empire and it was the Romans who were ultimately responsible long before the British took it over after WW1.

But it was the British who focked off and left the place in a shambles. (I'm no historian myself, but i read those Leon Uris books, exodus etc etc, about the place and that was my impression), so do correct me if I'm wrong. I do see that we have a problem differentiating between England & Britain in this thread

See if we can get this list up to 1,966 before the world cup starts 31. Dublin and Monaghan bombings 75. Gordon Ramsay I think these should be taken out; The bombings had nothing to do with England directly (maybe collusion between British Army and Loyalists, but nothing directly to do with England). Gordon Ramsay is a Scottish cnut, I believe I will get rid of Gordon Ramsay. The Dublin and Monaghan bombings were, at best, tolerated by the London government at the time and possibly encouraged. It is difficult to separate Britain from England in some instances but I'm not going to absolve the English from blame in a problem they created and a problem they sought to end through criminal interference in the affairs of another nation.

So, for future reference are we saying Britain=England, except where the reason is clearly Scottish, Welsh or Norn Iron?

If you don't want England to win a world cup because you believe them responsible for the ills of Palestine then include it. If you reckon it's unfair to blame it all on the English then maybe don't. If someone or something is obviously Scottish or Welsh then leave them out obviously.

Burberry is #305 so can we get a new #406? Done. Also: 432. Gareth Gates 433. Harry Potter Is that Brian Moore the commentator or Brian Moore the rugby player at 191? Just want to make sure the latter is included. And I think Austin Healey features at 128 and 313; is he featuring once for the 2003 Lions tour and once for his hair, or does one of those entries relate to the car?
