Had an argument with some geezer with a huge nose last night over who was better. For me it's Alonso. Easily one of the best midfielders in the world. Fabregas isn't yet. Please vote above.

I don't really see enough of the premiership to vote but I certainly prefer Alonso, though that's from his Sociedad days. Fabregas has the potential to be excellent and has played an unbelievable amount of top class soccer for someone of his age and position.

Alonso all the way. Watching him play in the flesh against Chelsea confirmed his briilliance to me. Definitely one of the best midfielders around.
