was doing a life audit of sorts last night and i concluded that i needed to get out of my job. it's not a bad job per se, it's just that i find it unchallenging having pretty much dominated every technical challenge put before me and beaten every deadline at a canter. So i need to get out of here. I prefer an 'escape to victory' style break-out. Play the senior managers in a game of football, directing all attention from the gradual fleeing of others. I would obviously scoring the winning goal in the dying moments and then make off into the sunset with the blonde cheerleader with the fit body.
I now open this to the forum, how else to make the break from the stranglehold of employment.

Escape in the style of: - The Firm - find some information to bring down the corrupt company behind you, and emerge unscathed yourself.
- Fight Club - though considering the hours people work at night and at weekends, could be difficult finding a moment when the building is unoccupied - perhaps 10am the morning after the Christmas party.
- Any Given Sunday (less exciting, but easier) - after some highs and lows, come out stronger & wiser, & better placed to face the next challenge
- The Usual Suspects - just walk out the door, and think of the look on the face of those who let you go, as two minutes later they realise they've made a terrible mistake they'll never be able to correct.
