I’m on An Fear Rua (only post when something really needs to be said; like when defending Matty Forde!), thehuddleboard (more of a lurker but post occasionally, very addicted to this now), Wookie’s Lair/Talkin’ City (lurk on this Manchester City board but it’s always being hacked into so getting fed up of it), Damien Dempsey (for news about the great man), BellX1 (like the band, get some good tips about new bands to check out etc), flick in and out of loads other band boards like Snow Patrol, Whipping Boy, Bloc Party but these are occasional enough sortees. Used to check out foot.ie but now find thefreekick satisfies my football debating needs! Probably a few more that I can’t think of but it’s just sport and music really although everything and anything is talked about on these boards.

Glad to see that the pay as a Global Moderator is good enough that you don't need another job & can do research for this site all day instead.

Avid Huddleboarder (lurker for the most part), other than that I used to frequent boards.ie and the off topic forum on sigames.com (football manager makers) but cannot do so in current employment.

TFK takes up most of my forummery these days.

Spent a lot of my college days on foot.ie, don't use it much anymore as every thread usually ends in an arguement over one of three things:

The word Celtic is now banned on it and all SPL discussion must be conducted on one thread!


Go on the betfair forum alot, (forum.betfair.com). Can usually pick up a few ideas for the weekends betting there. It's also great for laughing at people hopelessly addicted to gambling (myself included) and trying suss out the prospects in the Dutch Jupiler League or the Polish Orange Ekstraklasa or my own personal favourite the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

It never fails to surprise me the amount of people who follow English teams yet get up in arms over anyone having an interest in Celtic. You get it on anfearrua a lot where they’ll be gagging over say Steven Gerrard’s goal in the FA Cup final and then shout down people who mention Celtic, McGeady or whatever. Then there’s the foot.ie element who are very passionate about the Eircom League, seemingly accept people who support English teams and then have massive complex with regard to Celtic supporters for not supporting an ‘Irish’ club. I wish those idiots would educate themselves a bit.
