Anyone on this here forum interested in playing eleven a side soccer. Been playing in the AUL Division 2 for a couple of years now and we're just about to start a new season. We play on a Saturday at 3 o'clock or so and train on Tuesdays at the moment (subject to change).
Standard is difficult to specify. We're better than a pub team and most of the lads are decent enough - all around 22-28.
Anyway is there anyone here who is looking for a team to play for? We're northside-based by the way.

Definitely interested but not properly available until October with exams and holidays coming up. Not sure I could commit to every Saturday given the fact that I head home to Galway a fair bit but let me know if there's a chance for me.

Propsects there alright Lyonsee. Let me know if you want to train before October, if not just start then. Tends to be every Saturday when the weather's fine but there's not much game time between Christmas and February due to pitches etc.

Looking for a team at the moment. What part of the northside is it? Living over in rathmines at the moment. What does the training consist of?

It's Portmarnock - a decent trip out from town but it's on the DART and a couple of bus routes.
Training at the moment is on Tuesdays only. When the season starts properly it may move to twice a week - depending on the commitment we can get from players. The club has its own astro in Portmarnock so train there in the winter, at the moment we just train on grass pitches in Porto.
We are training tonight for example, then we've a friendly on Saturday against a team from the division below us. League starts next Saturday.
