The Eircom League proves that it's among the strongest leagues in the world. In all seriousness though that is a cracking result for Derry. It'd be great for them if they got into the group stages and got a run of games in the Waffa Cup.

Dubious bandage. Eircom league is unwatchable. Ventured to a couple of premier division games in the past, painful stuff. The UEFA cup is a third rate competition at this stage, a McGrath Cup or FBD league equivalent if you will.
3rd rate and all as it is, its unlikely to reside at eastlands in the near future. Or far future for that matter.

Missed the game last night cause I was playing ball myself but saw the last few minutes on Setanta and then the goals afterwards. Some cracking goals in there - particularly the two from Deery. Another reason to get the Setanta package Bandage - they show quite a few UEFA Cup games like that.
