Im going on holdays to the US on friday week and will visit NY, Memphis, Vegas and Chicago.
I have already been to NY and Vegas, but I would be interested if any forum-ers have been to the other two cities, what they thought, good spots/spots to avoid etc...
In fact feel free to contribute re NYC and Vegas too, im all ears..

My parents were on a walking holiday in Memphis - apparently the mountainous areas are very dangerous so you need to keep your feet on the - feet on the - ground.

my dad went to san francisco -he was pretty shady as to why he went alone -he just told my mum he wanted to explore himself
he came back 2 weeks later walking like john wayne- reckons he fell playing baseball
