I just included some bands off the main stage over the two days but there are many other great bands due to play including: Richard Ashcroft Feeder Primal Scream The Futureheads Gomez Goldfrapp The Zutons Rodrigo Y Gabriela Orson Mylo Feel free to include these or others in your post for the band which you are looking forward to most. I'm not sure who I'm looking forward to most, probably Hard Fi and the Magic Numbers on Saturday and BellX1 and then the Chilli's to top it all off Sunday night. Should be a cracking weekend. Hope you're all going. Is it a TFK official away weekend? DT

Bit hasty there - I voted for Damo but then saw the last option and I'm not going so my vote is probably distorting the true picture. However I am looking forward to you seeing Damo so maybe it's ok after all.

Still hoping to go to this if one of the lads who’s a cop in Naas gets us all in for free again in the back of the paddywagon – it’s a corrupt society we live in. Plus it’s the weekend in between the two Leinster Finals this year which generally prevented my attendance in previous years. Damo and The Bellies never disappoint live but this time looking forward to Hard Fi – loving their album. Haven’t bought into the Arctic Monkeys hype yet and would rather cut myself than listen to the likes of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers to be honest.

Cant believe that you didn't include James Brown. He would be the sole reason for me going.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Eels as well....
Primal Scream had, in Screamedalica, one of the albums of the nineties.

Was down there for the weekend, apart from getting drenched on Saturday was a great weekend. Was majorly impressed with Damien Dempsey, have heard he was good live but didn't realise how good. Other notably mentions go to the Strokes (they get better every time I see them), Editors (great version of road to nowhere), Clap your hands say yeah Sharon Shannon and Bell X1. For me though the Aussie rockers Wolfmother stole the show. They were on the NME stage at 1 on Sunday and my god did they rock!

Glad Damo didn't let you down, a few of the lads I know said he was a highlight. Have heard about Wolfmother but not any of their songs - must check them out. Heard Hard Fi were muck (pun intended) - anyone see them? Bellies always do a good show too. I got We Are Scientists album a while back and am very impressed with it - heard they were good, need to check out Editors also. Anything else tickle your fanct tommy or timofte?

Spent most of saturday drinking vodka in my tent! Eventually made it in around 5 or 6 so only caught the end of Hard Fi and they were muck alright, dissappointed in that but I think there were sound problems. The Who were very good saturday night. The strokes were impressive also. Kasabian were ok but was dissapointed I didn't go to Richard Ashcroft. Was supposed to be very good played all the verve songs.
Spent most of Sunday sitting on the grass drinking beer and didn't pay too much attention to the bands on stage until around 7 when the Kaiser Cheifs came on. Very good as were Franz Ferdinand. Missed out on the Kooks and the Zutons, apparantely they were very good, must check out their music. Was very impressed with Rodrigo Y Gabriela although it got kinda repetative so I left to watch the Chillis who fair play to them put on an excellent show to finish off the gig.
Highlight of the weekend - the evacuation of my underpants in a pub in Naas on Sunday morning!

Just checked the line up there and I must have been there for all of Hard Fi (well in body anyway) as I remember The Magic Numbers and I recall them being very good too.

PS. Hit the hundred posts there, bye bye Ray I'm missing you already.

Yeah wasn't impressed by Hard Fi at all, they never really got the crowd going and considering the rain was probably at it's heaviest during them they kinda needed to do that.
Saw the Zutons on sunday, they gave a great show. I also have to mention their Sax player (Abi Harding) who is some looker. She was wearing a little black number and kept flicking her hair during the performance, she looked unbelievably sexy.
Heard a bit of Kasabian Saturday night as well, they were also very good. Only heard one or 2 songs though as I wanted to hear a bit of the who.
Wasn't too impressed by the Chilli Peppers either, that's the second time I've heard them and they didn't really live up to the hype either time.
Artic Monkey's also gave a great performance, not as polished as some of the older performers but considering they are only 'chaps' it was still pretty damn impressive!
