Sharon Gráinne Síle Kay Kirsty Georgie Melissa - I've saved her till the end cause I'm putting a couple of pictures of her up (she's the one on the left!)

This is very interesting. Some excellent choices there. Had to go with the French option as the pictures I’ve seen of her are incredible. Would love to see an actual live broadcast to see if my off the scale rating of her is deserved. Always liked the husky voiced Georgie Thompson, Kirsty is class. Actually admit to being a secret admirer of Burley, ancient though she is. The Irish options stand up well too it must be said.

Not a newscaster but Lisa Burke of Sky News Weather is delicious.

Melissa is superb. The Seoiges look decidedly frumpy in comparison, but i definitely would, both of them, again and again.

Sharon for me especially when she has her glasses on.

Sharon for me especially when she has her glasses on. i think Sharon is a little overrated to be honest. I saw her in the flesh once and wasn't overly impressed, and i'm not a picky man. of course i still would, think i'd put Claire Byrne ahead of her though.

Sharon used to teach in my school - She'd be my top Irish pick I reckon but that Melissa bird is a corker.

Kirsty is stunning is my book, but somewhat other worldly- anyway, she's not really a broadcaster- just a crackin burd who turns up on tv.
The French one is seductive and would be in any top 3- from my memory as those linked pictures are not getting through, can't ogle her.
Maybe I am one of the only TV3 watchers but that Aislean O'Loughlin one is a "pound for pound" contender- I know she's not a Ferrari, but a Jordan team of old- always somewhere and could win it on a good day- especially like her domineering tones, brings authority so her professional credentials can't be queried, alongside her visual easiness on the mince pies.

Sticky, her name is Aisling. It's a Gaelic name - it means 'dream'.

Is that much the same in the way some people spell Bryan as "Brian"?-can you correct me on that one as I know people who stubbornly spell Brian with an "i". And on that note, I know some absolute coonts who are so ashamed of their surnames they add an "e" to the end of it to make it more "aesthetically pleasing"- would be grateful for your pearls of wisdom on such genealogical vandalism... Re Aislean I only know of women (typically) who spell there names "Aislean"- its Irish for Dream BTW

Oh, but I have ;D- you have not let go of the hole they're their issue-it all seems to much.
In my life time, I have only been pulled up on such issues by Boarders- it seems the Private Boarding School system puts a reel emphasis on grammar on getting you ahead in the world.
Plus TFK is not worth time to proof read- have enough of that in the day job.

Plus TFK is not worth time to proof read- have enough of that in the day job. So you're admitting it was (yet) another slip up from the one time doyen of verbosity and grammar. Melissa and Aislean (sic) would not be impressed.
