Tough one for me! My mate got into Copper's last night wearing shorts - absolutely Charlie Nicholas! Both great places to meet (as cully would say) 'some Áine from Tipperary wearing a Carroll's meats jersey'. Need to think about this for a while before voting.

I'm going to go for Flannery's.
I am still pissed off with Coppers because I was in there on 25th May last year after the greatest club in the world won the Champions League for the fifth time. I bursted by ankle on the stairs and was physically unable to walk. I pulled up a stool to chat with the lads who were standing about possibly the greatest night of my life. Then some barman comes over and told me to 'get the fuck up off the stool'. Apparently I was blocking an exit or something. When I explained to him that I was unable to stand up he said that 'he would get someone that would make me stand up'. I got up and hobbled after him and told him he was out of order. He said that if I didnt like it 'I knew where the door was'. Cunt.
Funny moment last night when Bandage pointed out a bird outside Kehoe's that appeared savage. She looked foreign. Then when she took off her sunglasses it turns out her name was Sinead and was a primary school teacher from Kerry. Judging my her face I wish that she had kept the sunglasses on. Sometimes the dream is better than reality.

Can picture you on a beach on holidays, staring at some girl, she takes off her sunglasses and you're there, 'Cathy, 26, from Galway'.

Both great places to meet (as cully would say) 'some Áine from Tipperary wearing a Carroll's meats jersey'. Need to think about this for a while before voting. Why would Aine from Tipp be wearing an Offaly jersey? isn't she fat ginger and stumpy enough without being a biff too? i would have to vote for Flannerys purely due to a superior track record with the "ladies". i think the "so called females" are gamier in flannerys and tend to be less munter-ish than coppers. coppers has its advantages in that it's so dark one can rarely see what they're getting stuck into - i have to confess to scoring the ugliest bird of my career in coppers after a wexford game last summer. i actually took her down the street to flannerys to sober up and get a decent look at her, then cruelly left her holding the double vodka she purchased for me and went back to coppers to bag a fat bird. i've also never fed the pony in coppers whereas its been done in flannerys many times. then again i've puked in coppers and scored a bird 2 mins later without the need for chewing gum or a drink to "freshen myself up". jesus this is tougher than i thought, i may have to revise my vote.

A fellow member's mate met Anne Doyle in Coppers last night. That seals it for me. You dont get that class of celeb in Flannerys.

Vaguely remember meeting Dorce in Flannery's too the night before my FAE results. Vaguely. Of course as a good Wexican(e), WOW's comment wouldn't apply to him. To me maybe.

That reminds me - Darce this day two weeks ago coming out of a house (won't say street or number!) near the junction of Raglan and Egllinton Roads. Gave him the nod and said hello as I walked past - he said hello back - I wanted to hug him. The 'celeb spotting' and 'which is best?' threads have morphed into one!

I did a line with a bird called Marge from Tipp who supports Offaly a few years back.
