How come we never get a female view on things? Just thought that I would throw it out there Apparently they can vote now... Do we actually have any female members?

In fairness we chat primarily about sport on the forum. If it was a sewing, knitting or cleaning website then you'd have more female input I'd imagine.
Whilst not giving away anyone's identity I can confirm that we have at least 3 female members. Then there are a few around whose gender there remains confusion such as steamboatsam and stickywithoutjam.

they are allowed to "vote", as in the physical mark a ballot paper and place it in the ballot box but the vote isn't actually counted - it's discarded before the official counting begins. It's simply a means of making women feel "liberated" and "equal".

But surely the girls would be interested in the "Home & Away' "discussions".
I use the term "discussions" lightly............

I have to say, i have yet to some across another female on this site- either way, if a female was going to make any sort of comment about sport, be it a knitting competition or plain old soccer- they would get shot down, with some sort of sexist remark/come-back. Even if it was a perfectly good, relevant comment. I believe this is my first comment i've made on this forum, that's bacause of fear...of what i've stated above!!

I've launched a female recruitment drive. Hope it bears fruit but not holding my breath. Preshy deserves some company.
