Marge finds out that she is pregnant with Maggie. She is telling Patti and Selma but asks them to promise not to tell Homer.
P&S: Ok we won't tell HOMER
Cuts to a scene where they are looking at a telephone directory. They pick out the first name which was e.g. Adams.
P&S: Hello is that Mr Adams? It may interest you to know that Marge Simpson is pregnant again.
Fasts forward to a scene where they are taking the last name in the phonebook e.g. Zidane. They said the same thing. It seemed that they had gone through the entire phonebook and told everyone but Homer.
Then they said:
Adams and Zidane are the two biggest gossips in town. As soon as they know - everyone will know.
They did that technique a lot in it. Leading you along a path and then pulling the rug from under you and almost laughing at you for believing them in the first place

Homer: "You know, I've had a lot of jobs: boxer, mascot, astronaut, imitation Krusty, baby proofer, trucker, hippy, plough driver, food critic, conceptual artist, grease salesman, carny, mayor, drifter, bodyguard for the mayor, country western manager, garbage commisioner, mountain climber, farmer, inventor, Smithers, Poochie, celebrity assistant, power plant worker, fortune cookie writer, beer baron, Kwik-E-Mart clerk, homophobe, and missionary, but protecting Springfield, that gives me the best feeling of all."
It's kind of scary that, except for the mayor one, I've seen all those episodes. And I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
