I am kinda happy with my low karma - it shows that I am getting to people.... I think that the forum would not be as good if everyone was agreeing with each other the whole time.
I would rather have a karma of -28 and have said what I want to say than have one of + whatever having held my tongue...
But exaltations are welcome as well

It's from when Seize The Day was released in the UK in Summer 2004: 'If the voice and the words can be combined to be arresting then I'm a slave to that person for life. I quite like the work of Damien Dempsey. He has a fantastic voice. He's released two albums.' He invited Damo to tour the US with him for 3 months in late 2004 when he was touring 'You Are The Quarry' over there. Damo came back recorded 'Shots' and released it in Spring 2005. Still think Seize is better than Shots but both are immense. |

Listening to Declan De Barra's debut album the last few weeks. A Waterford man I believe - it was recommended on the Damo Dempsey site for lovers of such music. Very impressive I must say with a lot of variety and styles on there. Said I'd give him a mention - word of mouth is how these guys make their living!
