deserve more support. FFS I turned up at Castle Avenue this morning at 9.30am expecting an hour queue to get in. After all it was our first defence of the Inter Continental Cup so sensationally won in Naorobi last year. But alas there was only me, Cully, a man and a dog. Shame on the lot of you - the players couldn't hide their disappointment but fook it what a performance with the ball in spite of the apathy shown towards them. Trent had them in fear from the very first ball [he took a Michelle (a Pffeifer)], Morgan took a couple of sensational catches, then their number hit Andre Botha for 28 in one over. four 6s, one 4 and a dot ball in the middle. Fookin hilarious. Highlight was our coach Adie Birrell coming over for a chat. Super stuff altoghether.

Bondage, I would certainly have made time for such a seismic event in the B-tier of World Cricket but unfortunately, in misguided hope, I checked Ireland's Premier Sports & General Discussion website, thefreekick.com to see if I had to clear my diary for any forthcoming events and lo' and behold, the calendar for Thursday 18th May on Ireland's Premier Sports & General Discussion website, thefreekick.com was as empty as Eamo's mental faculties- therefore I never went to the Tarf today to witness such stirring performances as outlined above- maybe we have a performance improvement observation for the Administration team- plus I would like a "look busy" emergency button as at lastminute.ie, works a treat and when is Ireland's Premier Sports & General Discussion website, thefreekick.com text info service going on stream?

Twas good to see you there Bandage. Whilst the crowd was disappointing i would have to say that if you look at the crowds attending 4 day county matches they are equally disappointing, probably more so considering the size of county membership in comparison to irish cricket's.
highlights of the day was TJ's 6 for, our general fielding display (including some smashing catches and some regulation ones also) and one of the lads reciting Eavan Boland poetry.
Shame about the weather, i predict we get a small 1st innings lead, 40 or 50 runs, and put them back in and try to win the game outright.
shame the weather is playing a part because this could easily have been over within three days thus freeing up TJ to play for the 'tarf in our cup tie this saturday.

Cully, was looking to buy the superb new Irish ODI jersey on the Lion Sports and/or the ICU site but don't see it up there. Do you know where one can access said top? If so, I shall exalt you. As an aside, why is my karma -8? Fook you lot.
