How do you know when you have smites to use and how do you earn them in the first place? one an hour, if other members have the exalt & smite buttons under their username beside their post then you can use it. it disappears after you exalt/smite someone and reappears an hour later. now i deserve to be exalted for that! |

In relation to the actual game yesterday:
- Telfer is finished. Giggs destroyed him early on and although he was willing to get forward he is not a decent attacking option because his passing and crossing is so poor.
- Hartson was awful. I know it was only a testimonial but he's been off the pace for a while now. I'd cash in for very little. Zurawski had to run both channels and try and get into the box in the centre because Hartson barely lifted a leg for the whole game.
- McManus can't afford to dive in against quality attackers.

I actually mentioned to Cully that it was an interesting game from a Celtic perspective as although a friendly it had similar ingredients to what they'll face away from home in Europe next season. Agreed on Hartson - we've debated before in another thread whether his lack of movement (maybe even effort?) away from home is made up for by his usefulness in the air at home. Last night I decided it was time for a parting of the ways - if someone like Portsmouth offers £1.5m then thank you very much. Celtic had a lot of possession in the first half but there was very little on when Magic's runs were covered due to BBJ standing hands on hips most of the time. Telfer surely won't be in the starting XI next season, will he? Wilson looked assured again all through. The only poor game I've seen him play so far was the last Old Firm game. Noticed McManus diving in a bit too especially on Rossi in the first half. Great news that Kennedy will be back for pre season but it's impossible to tell whether he'll be anywhere near the player he looked like becoming before his injury. Still think they need another centre back so for me it looks like Balde plus one other for next season. |
