David Villa is the man. 2 goals scored and he's taken off after 55 mins against the Ukraine. He's a real natural, pretty much what Raul was before Raul fell into Gallactico culture and got lost in his own hype. Jimmy and Brian are you laughing at my bet on his golden boot now? If you are I understand considering he was hauled off after 55 mins of torturing Ukraine to bring on Raul who was obviously threatening to throw lots of toys out of the pram - what a ponse, or "G'aul" as I call him. If Spain stick to their best strikers, Villa and Torres you won't keep laughing at my bet.

I was reluctant to back Villa for top scorer because I didn't think he was guaranteed a game. I don't think Raul is better than Villa but I wasn't confident that Villa would start ahead of him so I ignored him as a betting proposition. Also I think Torres is the guy who deserves all the praise and hype.
