Right been thinking about cancelling this for a while and just wondering if I'm missing out on anything. Going to get Setanta package instead which would give me Setanta 1+2, Celtic TV and that NASN thing for 8 euro a month.
Much cheaper than sky and it will have premiership soccer next season (it's unlikely many of the Setanta EPL games will be broadcast on the free station on NTL) but EPL isn't a big factor for me anyway.
I'll get Setanta Ireland (i.e. schools rugby) SPL when it clashes with Formula 1 EPL Bundesliga Celtic TV
I'm basically trying to figure out what I'll lose by switching away from Sky. I don't really watch much Premiership soccer, I hate Soccer AM. It's really only Heineken Cup rugby I'm losing out on but I can take that.
Is there anything else I'm forgetting that's on Sky that I'll only remember once I've cancelled the thing?

Actually not that much when you think about it. You'll miss the Ryder Cup cause Bertie was afraid to stand up to Murdoch but thats only on for three days. Go for it

Go for it Ryder cup isn't anything I'm going to care about. Forgot about the Ashes at Christmas but I could always get it back for a couple of weeks. Not sure I agree that Bertie should have stood up to Murdoch - it's not the Irish government's place to interfere with the broadcasting of the Ryder Cup. It doesn't hold a special place in the Irish sporting calendar and the only reason it's here is because big business paid for it to come here. If they don't want the general public to see it then I couldn't give a shit - the K Club was never about facilitating the Irish sporting public.

Ashes will be a feast of sport. If it's only half as good as last summer's series then it'll still be the 2nd best sporting series of all time in any sport.
