Arising out of sheer boredom in work I have updated the calendar for a few major sporting events on the horizon such as The GAA championship, World Cup, The Ashes, The 6 Nations, Euro 2008 qualifiers etc. Feel free to have a perusal to plan any potential trips - the double header away to the Czechs and Slovaks in September 2007 looks particularly attractive.

I have committed to attending two Champions League games before Christmas, one at Celtic Park and one away trip - can't see myself doing any Irish away games as a result. Good work on the calendar

It could be a forum field trip?

Bandage, I think we drunkenly put a bet on Celtic a while back. Think it was €100 on whether or not Celtic will get out of the group. Would you like to accept this bet?

Okey dokey rightio. Not overly confident of collecting mainly due to Rangers progression with a horseshit squad last season but sure what harm. Don't think players like Camara, Telfer, Miller etc are good enough for the Champions Leage but ye'll be difficult to beat at home and am I correct in saying that ye are in Pot 2?

Hopefully Camara and Telfer will play no part in the CL next season. I'd be expecting Boruc Wilson Balde AN OTHER Fortune Maloney Keane Petrov/AN OTHER Nakamura Magic AN OTHER Subs: Miller Riordan (if he signs before January) McGeady Kennedy/Caldwell Virgo Marshall

The 3 players you mention are unlikely to feature in Europe next season. Pot 2 thanks to Seville missing out on 4th place in La Liga on last day of the season.

I'm hearing Ahmed Mido rumours through my Scottish sources! Though the signings so far are more SPL players I'm confident that Strachan will get a couple of good players in. It will be very interesting to see how they get on.
