Speaking of Elisabeth Shue. Leaving Las Vegas is a brilliant show. Very good performance by Nicolas Cage too.
Other top films on my list include:
Reservoir Dogs Fargo Braveheart Fight Club
I also thought the Matrix was a smashing film when it first came out. The sequel was complete tripe and never bothered to see the third one but the first one was definitely ground breaking. Very thought provoking and brilliant graphics. Its a pity it encouraged all those goth freaks to dress even more hideously. Keep it to the film stars guys!

Spacey in ordinary decent criminal was disasterous, but I thought he was good in LA Confidential. I see they've remade the Poseidon adventure, cant see it being anyway near as good as the old version with Gene Hackman, a fantastic film. Has hollywood ran out of any original films to make? this summer they are pumping out so many remakes; The Omen, Superman, X Men, Poseidon, Miami Vice (granted, it was a TV show) I think they're going to remake the original Back Door Patrol as well.

Ghost and the Bodygaurd are my own personal favourites. Followed closely by Bridget Jones Diary, Notting Hill and 4 Weddings and a funeral. That cheeky chappy Hugh Grant is my hero.

I smited you as well for listing those girlie films, which I didn't find amusing. I was going to exalt you for voting for Fowler but then I realised that you said 'by a country mile' and I didn't agree with that.. I also thought that your comment was more directed towards winding up our SPL friends than actual appreciation of Fowler's ability.... You may want to back up that statement if I am wrong

Napoleon Dynamite is the funniest film I've ever seen I'd say. Some of the forum members here would most definitiely appreciate it if they haven't seen it.
Other than that, in no particular order:
American History X Trainspotting Shawshank Redemption Stand by Me Pay It Forward Bandage's Parents Make Love IV

Consequently we have a Napoleon Dynamite address book and talking figure thing. Re your other choices is Pay it Forward a real selection or a joke? In one of my weaker moments I confessed to the bird that it looked like a really nice idea. She laughed at me for months afterwards cause it's stupid corny shit apparently. Never saw it.
