I was being gracious by even having Alf there that's another smite (soon) and i'm going to smite you every hour of every working day for the next week, 'cos i'm a smiteful bastard  |

H&A is 6.30 which leaves time to stroll home and still have a 30 min build up and in-depth discussion of the previous episode and where we think the various plots are heading |

So what ye think of: Redknapp Crooks Quinn Spillane Houghton Brolly Hook Ted Walsh Loughnane Dunphy Giles I like it. If i may suggest: Hook & Walsh (marginally) ahead of Loughnane. Walsh maybe ahead cos of his cracking comments 'I once rode her mother around the Curragh' & ' I once rode a three year old down in Cork'. But Loughnane maybe too for having total disregard for the fact that he used to manage Clare and slag them when they need to be slagged (a great trait in an analyst) McCoist instead of Crooks, Redknapp where Crooks is now and McCoist first. Spillane ahead of Houghton (way overshadowed by G&D) and maybe Brolly (but i'm biased here and also hate Brolly and he's a fooking solicitor too): so mine is McCoist Redknapp Quinn Houghton Brolly Spillane Loughnane/Walsh Loughnane/Walsh Hook Dunphy Giles. Great idea and leadership shown here rock and exalt due. |

I like Eugene McGee in the Gaelic but its too late now Totally disagree there. Think McGee's stuck in the 70s/80s moaning and whinging about hand passing and possession play and advocating lads just launching the ball forward with no purpose. Stuck lamenting those bygone days when he was successful. And his stuff in the paper is dreadfully sterile and boring to read. |
